Steps for Setting Up Emergency SOS
Step 1: Before you swipe the touchscreen, you need to press the side button as well as the volume button. This step would turn off the smartphone.
Step 2: Once you go to the homescreen, you should check whether the ‘Also works with 5 clicks’ option is enabled. However, you might have to specify an emergency service to contact a particular region.

Step 1: Launch the ‘Settings’ app and scroll down till the ‘Emergency SOS’ option is visible on the homescreen.

When you make a call with the emergency services, the Apple Watch contacts the person automatically. In some countries, you need to select the contact or the services. It could either involve connecting with someone at the police station or the individuals who take up the responsibility of extinguishing fire.
To use SOS, the iPhone should always be within your reach. If that’s not the case, then the Apple Watch has to be connected through Wi-Fi and you need to enable the Wi-Fi calling mode.
Step 1: Press and hold the side button for some time till the Emergency SOS slider is visible on the touchscreen.
Step 2: Continue to hold the button and wait till you hear a sound. You can also swipe the Emergency SOS with your fingertip.
Step 3: As soon as the countdown ends, the watch would automatically call the emergency services.
NOTE: Soon after the call ends, the Apple Watch would send emergency contacts a message along with the location. In case the Location Services is switched off, then it would be turned on for some time.
If there’s a change in the location, then the emergency contact would be notified immediately. You would also receive a notification after 10 minutes. Select the ‘Stop Sharing’ option in case you want to discontinue the services.

How To Add Contacts
It’s pretty simple for adding or removing contacts.
Step 1: Launch the ‘Health’ app and tap the Medical ID.
Step 2: After selecting the ‘Edit’ option, you should go to the ‘Emergency Contacts’.
Step 3: Tap on the green colored plus (+) to add the emergency contacts.
Step 4: Post adding the contact, you need to tap on ‘Done’ so that the changes are saved.
