Are you the one who are blaming mobile companies for poor mobile network?
Then, there is good news for you!
BSNL will soon able to deal with this situation by launching satellite phones in India.
Recently the BSNL chairman stated;
Distribution of satellite phones will be divided into two phases, in the first phase all agencies fall under the roof of government will get its access, and in the second phase these satellite mobile phones will be introduced to citizens in India.
According to The Economic Times, Telecom Minister Manoj Sinha said;
One important thing about satellite phone is that it never lets you get disconnected from rest of the world.
With the launch of satellite phones, BSNL will try to bridge remote areas where mobile networks are poor. To accomplish it, BSNL will get help from 14 satellites of INMARSAT.
Currently in India, Tata Communications Ltd is providing satellite phones under the license of Videsh Sanchar Nigam Limited (VSNL).
